I always look for continual professional development opportunities. As I approached 20 years since graduating, I wanted to aim to attain Fellowship status.

It was a really enjoyable process, as it was a moment to reflect and look back on my career, something people don’t usually make time for in busy construction careers.

Training LMS made the process enjoyable, reflective and manageable. I have taken a lot out of the process in terms of my professional development, and I am very proud of my new Fellowship status. I would like to give a special mention to my tutor Gerard Graham, who was professional and engaging throughout the process.

For people thinking about it, go for it. The hard work will be rewarded, and you will look back with pride that you made room to do it. Being a member of the Chartered Institute of Building, is something all professionals in the industry should strive towards.
